Samsung HMX-F90/F900 Camcorder (White) HD 720p

The Samsung HMX-F90 HD Camcorder records up to 720p video at 30 fps and features a Schneider lens that provides 52x optical zoom range to get you closer to the action. The lens also has a maximum aperture of f/1.8 to benefit shooting in dimly light environments. In addition to 720p video, the camcorder can also capture 1.9MP still photos onto SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Users can monitor and play back recorded files on the 2.7" articulated LCD panel, or use the micro HDMI output and an optional HDMI cable to connect to your HDTV for large screen playback of your footage with family and friends. You can also share connect the camera to a Windows computer using an included USB cable and use the camcorder's built-in Intelli-studio editing software to transfer, edit, and upload your videos directly to social media sites such as YouTube. Connecting to a computer's USB port will also charge the camera battery when attached.

720/30p, 480/60p and 1.9MP Still Photos

HD 1280 x 720 resolution at 30p offers 2.5x better resolution than conventional standard definition camcorders. In addition to video, the F90 can capture up to 1.9MP still photos.

Schneider 52x Optical Zoom

The Samsung F90 comes with a 52x optical zoom lens. This lens brings you as close to the action as you need to be and ensures that every image is as clear and crisp as you remember them. A fast maximum aperture of f/1.8 ensures improved image quality in low light conditions.

Articulated 2.7" LCD Display

With the wide 2.7" (67.5mm) LCD display lets you see images on the screen clearly while you shoot, even when you're looking from the side, above, or below. You can also playback recorded clips and view them on the LCD display.

Scene Modes and Smart Auto

The F90 has a collection of preset scene modes to give your images a specific look. Presets include Auto, Sports, Portrait, Spotlight, Beach & Snow, Food, and Waterfall. In addition, Smart Auto mode can automatically select preset settings for Night, White, Indoor, Macro, Landscape, Portrait and Night Portrait.

Time Lapse

The Time-Lapse recording feature takes still frames at preset intervals, and the F90 automatically creates a video file that condenses hours of recording into minutes of viewing.

Record Pause

When shooting a long video, like a baseball game or a child's play, you'll probably want to take a break for any long pauses or intermission. With the Record Pause feature, you can pause the recording and then pick up right where you left off without creating a new file. This way you only have one file to work with and don't have to merge files for editing, sharing or transferring.

One Touch Sharing Button

Capture your most memorable moments and share them with friends and family. Simply connect the camcorder to a PC, select your files, and press the One-Touch Sharing Button to quickly upload your videos to YouTube. (Note: one touch sharing requires a computer with an internet connection)

Bookmark Your Favorite Scenes

Playback your favorite moments without having to waste time fast-forwarding or rewinding. The My Clip feature allows you to tag any scene in your video, so you can instantly relive the most hilarious bits or amazing sights over and over again with no additional editing.

Customize Movie Clips with Preloaded Software

Add a professional touch to your movies with My Music. Select one of four preloaded classical pieces to score your video, or import songs from your PC's music library by using Samsung's Intelli-Studio. And if there's talking in the scene, it won't get drowned out by the score. Smart BGM II automatically lowers the music, so you can hear whoever is speaking. (requires a PC)

USB Charging

Simply connect the Samsung F90 to a PC's USB port, turn on the PC, and your camcorder will start recharging.
